Feline Blood Type Inheritance

The dominant and most common blood type in the Ragdoll breed is Type A. The second most common blood type in Ragdolls is type B. Type AB is extremely rare in cats, but there seems to be an unusually high number of type AB cats in the Ragdoll breed.

The dark blue text are type A cats. The orange letters indicate type AB. The red highlight indicates type B. The cats that carry type B undetected are highlighted in light yellow.
